2026 ANNUAL USNASW RAFFLE RULES AND REGULATIONS

The NASW Foundation Annual Raffle benefits restoration efforts at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, and is conducted by the NASW Foundation, a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of New Jersey. The raffle is governed by the State of New Jersey Gambling Act. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these rules.

  1. The purchase price for one raffle ticket is $10.00 each, three for $25 or $80 for a book of ten. 1 to 5000 raffle tickets are to be sold.
  2. Tickets can be purchased from any NASW Board Member, NASW employee/agent or a NASW Volunteer, at the NASW gift shop, and supporting businesses employees/agents.
  3. Tickets may be purchased with Cash, Credit/Debit Card, Venmo, or PayPal. Tickets will not be sold online as it is not permitted in New Jersey.
  4. All raffle entry purchases are final and non-refundable. Voidoutside of the forty- eight (48) United States, and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Any NASW Foundation employees, board members and/or their household families are not eligible to enter.
  5. Entrants will retain the original physical raffle ticket. The stub will be entered into the drawing and will be retained by the NASW Foundation.
  6. All unsold tickets and proceeds from the raffle ticket sales must be received by NASW no later than 10:45 am Eastern Time Tuesday. September 1, 2026. If received after the official deadline, all monies will be returned to Entrant(s) and all associated tickets will be invalid. Additional tickets may be purchased with cash/card onsite at the NASW Gift Shop until 2:00pm on the drawing date, Saturday, September 26th, 2026.
  7. The winner(s) of the raffle will be determined by random drawing. The drawing will take place on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at approximately 3:00pm Eastern Time at the NASW Museum, 500 Forrestal Rd. Cape May, NJ 08204 and will also be broadcast live on the NASW Facebook page. Prizes will be drawn in the following order: Third place will be the first ticket picked, followed by second place for the second ticket picked and finally the first place winner will be the third ticket picked. If a winning ticket is named after a minor, a parent/guardian will be required to claim the prize. Winning tickets will only be drawn once and not be placed back in the container for future draws. This information will also be announced on our website at www.usnasw.org. Entrant(s) do not need to be present to win.
  8. Winners agree to comply with all IRS regulations regarding raffle winnings. Winner(s) agree to furnish NASW Foundation with his/her social security number, verify his/her identity, and sign all required IRS documents (IRS Form 1099) before claiming the prize(s).
  9. The drawn winner(s) of the raffle are entitled to: 3rd place- a $949 retail value Weber Propane Grill, 2nd place- a $1,278 retail value on Two (2) Beach Cruiser Bicycles and 1st place- a $2,000 retail value VISA Gift Card. NASW Foundation specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including without limitations any warranties of merchantability. The NASW Foundation is not responsible for any losses or injuries suffered as a result of the raffle prize.
  10. The winner(s) of the raffle must claim the prize within 14 days (two weeks) of the drawing. If the winner does not claim the prize within 14 days of the drawing, by responding to telephonic or written notice from NASW Foundation or otherwise, the prize will be forfeited. Winners of the raffle must pick up their winnings in person – no raffle prizes shall be shipped or delivered from NASW. After the prize is claimed, the winner must abide by any restrictions placed on the voucher by the issuing donor (e.g. expiration date for use). Winner is responsible for all taxes, tags, registration (if required) and all tax forms per the winner’s state and the State of New Jersey.
  11. Purchasers of raffle tickets must legibly write their full names, addresses, email, and telephone numbers on each individual ticket stub. If more than one name is stated on a ticket stub, the first listed name shall be the Entrant. The NASW Foundation shall, will and can have no obligation for payment or delivery of any prize to any person other than the Entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate any such prize among the participants in any multiple party entry.
  12. Any drawing may be postponed due to weather or any state of emergency declared by the Governor of New Jersey, or the President of the United States. In such an event, a new date, place, and time for the drawing will be determined by NASW, which will be announced on the NASW website and/or NASW Facebook page.
  13. Purchasers of tickets, by participating in the raffle, release the NASW Foundation, its directors, officers, members, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or claim arising out of any raffle prize. Purchasers expressly waive any such claim and agree that the liability, if any, of the NASW, its directors, officers, members, and agents shall be limited to the raffle ticket price paid. NASW makes no express or implied warranty as to the Raffle prize(s).
  14. Any and all disputes, claims, and controversies concerning this raffle shall be submitted to and resolved by binding arbitration, to be conducted under arbitration rules in the State of New Jersey.
  15. Prize(s) are not redeemable for cash. No substitution of the offered prizes may be made and no cash will be given in lieu of prizes.
  16. Raffle is void where prohibited.
  17. Winner(s) agree to allow the NASW Foundation to publish their name(s) and photographs on the NASW website, Facebook page and other media outlets.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE RAFFLE MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. SPONSOR’S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
