Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum, located at the Cape May Airport, is excited to bring this new event to historic Hangar #1! With the cooperation of the Delaware River & Bay Authority (operators of the Cape May Airport), the airport will temporarily close to air traffic to allow runners and walkers this unique opportunity to compete on the runway! And, it’s for a good cause. Proceeds will benefit restoration efforts of historic Hangar #1 which is listed on both the National and State of NJ register of Historic Places. Come Join Us!
Air Traffic & Runways will be shut down on race day between
8 am – 11 am.
Early registration is highly recommended. Race day registration begins at 7am. Race begins promptly at 9am.
